I'm looking at a big white box.
A big white box that I can put letters in. Sometimes those letters make words, and sometimes those words make sense as sentences. I do my best, but not as often as I'd like.
I'm content, today, to put these words down and know that they'll be here for me sometime in the future. The right word for this situation is "etched", but it's 2013 and few things get etched these days. They get "saved" on storage devices made of magnetic tapes, written by heads that spin.
My head is not spinning, but my words will be saved. They will get stored, and I will read them again someday in the future. It's kind of nice, knowing that my thoughts can travel through time. (Think, think, Tick, tick.)
I remember looking at a big white box. Have I done my best since then? Yes.
There is value in what I've done. There are sentences where there were not words or even letters mere minutes ago.
I have created, and will create again.
